ANCHOR&BRAILLE

ANCHOR&BRAILLE is the name i am going to put my acoustic stuff out under. since the new anberlin record is coming out early '07 i am going to put out the first record (self titled) out on toothandnail in late spring '07.
i am going to finish up the last 4 songs this december with producer aaron marsh (copeland). i put up a couple songs on purevolume.com/anchorandbraille and myspace.com/anchorandbraille . please let me know what you guys think, as i could not be happier with how these demo's turned out.

Stephen- the songs sound amazing! I really can't wait for the cd (late spring seems so far away but at least there will be a new anberlin cd between now and then).

I really love the things you can do with your voice. Absolutely beautiful.

The songs are beautiful. Can't wait to hear more of them. I'll definitely be getting your cd (and the new anberlin cd) when it comes out.

I'm completely blown away. So beautiful Stephen! Sheet music sounds so great.
It's wonderful how you understand you can do more with your life than just be in a band.

Delightful- completely. The production of the demo is extremely well done. I love when piano is incorporated into the mix of alternative music. The only thing I don’t like is the fact I have to wait until next spring to play this on my ipod- though I’m sure it’ll be well worth the wait. Props to you all, if you’re playing shows in the pacific northwest make it known!

Best!

Wow. I really enjoyed wedding/funeral, and the difference between the first version of "Sheet Music" you put up and this new one is incredible.

I'm so excited about those two CD's now!

I like how you incorporated the pinao into your songs, & would highly suggest putting those pictures that you took a while ago (while you were recording-that you put up on your blog) into the cd cover with your lyrics. I know that you have some amazingly deep thoughts, so I was wondering if you could possibly write some songs based on some of your blogs; instead of songs written about girls either breaking up with you or you breaking up with girls. These are just suggestions, but I think it does sound great!

Listening to "Wedding/Funeral" now... simply beautiful. (I'm such a sucker for the piano...)

I was already excited for new Anberlin... now I can be doubly excited! :) Yay for 2007.

What I love the most is that no matter what mood I'm in, I can always listen to your music. If I'm awake and full of energy- anberlin. If I'm in a more mellow mood- Anchor&Braille.

It's amazing and I love it.

Stephen, this is some awesome stuff - it's both a great contrast and a great compliment to the work you've done in Anberlin. 2007 is way too far away, though :^p

Hi Stephen
I love this modesty thing you have going on here. I read it all the time, but never started one of my own until your prompting a few posts back.
SOOO i would appreciate anyone reading this thoughts and idea on what I have posted.I don't know anyone who uses this, so my feedback is non-existant :).

on another note, i LOVE the new music. I added Wedding Funeral to my Myspace :).

Have the best day of your life,

M'eh, they're okay. Just kidding, I totally love them. I'm super stoked for your new albums. I was bummed I didn't get to go to Cornerstone this week and see you guys. But I think the demos are unique and amazing. You're very creative.
