'be patient towards all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves like locked rooms and like books that are written in a foreign tongue. do not now seek the answers... live the questions."

Love the photo!

This is one of my favorite quotes of his:
“There are no classes in life for beginners; right away you are always asked to deal with what is most difficult.”
R.M. Rilke

Without questions to make us look for answers, we wouldn't come across anything else, we would sit in a room and drool on ourselves. It's the constant romance of what we want to know and knowing we can't find answers.

i am always trying to find answers

finally i am just now learning to let one question lead to another path on the journey and then the next to lead to another, etc.

it is a long journey of learning and growing and being wrong a lot and there is something freeing in that...

being wrong...and that being ok for a while...

we learn and we move and we move forward

and sometimes we move backward

we experience growth and we understand brokenness...and we are sometimes humbled by our human experience...

and then we remember that that is what we are: humans

and with that comes a journey into learning

and learning to love
and to feel
and to believe
and to really live

why is life worth living

life is the journey

eternity begins now, not at the end of our human lives

let us then really live
