i started reading "A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius" cause you said it was one of your top 5 books of 2004, and i had read most of the others on your list. Just thought I would share.

i have to say that this is a very interesting piece. for me personally, it speaks a lot of truth, truth that i have recently found in my own life. i've been bruised by relationships, but in getting to know God, i in essence am beginning to know myself. c.s. lewis once said "The more we let God take over, the more truly ourselves we become-because he made us." i feel your comment on growing to be mrs. or mr. right speaks to this. moreover i just want to say i appreciate your writing, and it is always comforting to know that we are not alone in our thoughts and emotions. God Bless.

the six word memoir

there is a (not so) current writing trend that is really pretty profound. short but profound. what it is is that authors, writers, and such are writing their whole memoir in just 6 words. some creative ones that i have found are... Nobody cared, then they did. Why? - Chuck Klosterman 70 years, few tears, hairy ears. - Bill Querengesser "For Sale: baby shoes, never worn" -Ernest Hemingway recently people have been putting pictures to their 6 word memoir and they have been incredible. here are some on this NPR LINK . so i think it would be great if each one of us did one about ourself. perhaps post a photoshopped picture and 6 words, or just your 6 word memoir all on its own. either way, i think it would be so interesting to see each others lives in a simple 6 words. BREAKING HEARTS AND TAKING NAMES. a failure of character revealed. (repair) (dismantle)
